Craving chocolate? Try this delicious and nutritious dessert! I found this healthy chocolate pudding recipe in the December 2015 issue of Health Magazine. It is rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
Healthy Chocolate Mousse Recipe
1/3 cup raw honey or maple syrup
2 ripe avocados
1 ripe banana
Seeds from ½ a vanilla bean
1/3 cup raw cacao powder
2 ½ cups fresh or frozen raspberries (thaw if frozen)
2 Tbsp. maple syrup or honey
½ Tsp. rose water
Mousse: Combine all the ingredients for the mousse in a blender and blend until smooth. For a lighter mousse add a little coconut water until desired consistency. Put the mousse into a serving dish and refrigerate for about 20 minutes or until it is set.
Topping: In a bowl, add the raspberries with the lemon juice, maple syrup/or honey, and rose water. With a spoon crush the berries slightly and mix until ingredients are well combined. Allow the mixture to stand until berries soften (about 10-15 minutes). Add the berry mixture over the mousse right before serving.
